Research Title: The Impact of Teacher Collaboration on Technology Use in the Classroom Research Year: 2009 Research Classification: Professional Development Research Summary: This research project examined the impact of use of Web 2.0 collaboration technology introduced to a elementary grade-level team of teachers. The technologies of Delicious social bookmarking, Flickr social photosharing and Google Pages web-pages were introduced to a 4th grade team of teachers in a Title One school in Virginia. The hypothesis postulated if a team of teachers learned about these tools, used them for their team communication and planning, they would quickly be implemented in their classrooms for reinforcement and enrichment without any further need of technology training and support.
